Saumu
Saumu is the oldest of four sisters that currently board at Footprints during the week as their father is blind and is unable to care for them full time.
Saumu is the main carer for her three sisters when she is at home. She first came into Footprints care two years ago and had never been to school. Saumu is a very bright, ambitious girl. She is excellent at sport and her dream is to become a doctor.
Saumu is also the current Head Girl of Footprints Academy!

​It costs £30 a month to provide Saumu's food, education, uniform (including shoes), transport to and from school and all learning resources.

What does sponsorship involve?

If you prefer not to commit to monthly sponsorship payments, we'd be really grateful for a one off, single donation.

Please note that although we obtain the permission of their guardian(s), in the interest of the children's mental well-being we do not advise them of their sponsorship status.​
