Mwende
Mwende is the sister of Sophia who is at Mama Nginda Girls Secondary School, also fully sponsored by Footprints. They were identified by the local chief after their parents were killed.
Mwende loves to dance, she is the lead dancer of the school dance group and has a beautiful singing voice. She dreams of being a baker, so has been helping out in the kitchen at Footprints to learn.

​It costs £30 a month to provide Mwende's food, education, uniform (including shoes), transport to and from school and all learning resources.
